Change is something most of us struggle with at one point or another in our lives. It certainly came crashing into my world back in 1995. I had enjoyed a long and successful career as a Human Resources professional with a world-class Fortune 500 company, but I found myself becoming increasingly restless. I spent more and more of my time handling downsizings, reorganizations and politics, and less time doing the development, communication and conflict resolution work I was skilled in and loved to do. The unexpected and life altering loss of a loved one, the emancipation of my newly-grown children and the onset of some health problems invited me to take a look at my own life in a way I'd never done before.

My path became immediately clear as I traded in suits and a briefcase for sweats and a book bag and headed for graduate school. I finished school, internships and licensure in record time. Today I recognize and embrace change for the growth it can bring as I look forward to going to work every day in my solo private practice doing what I love and making a difference in the world one person at a time. I welcome the opportunity and consider it a privilege to use my knowledge and training to help you create the life you desire and deserve.

	Kyla (Irish for "graceful) is a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Wheatens are noted for being good therapy dogs for their sweet disposition and naturally non-shedding coat. Kyla was a natural from the first and has been "doing therapy" since she was eight weeks old. If you're in the mood for some unconditional love along with a laugh or two, come by and meet Kyla.
